Shop Rug Hooking Kits

For Rug Hooking, choose from hoop kits, framed kits, kits finished with a surround, or kits finished with cotton binding. You decide how you want to finish your project. 

 

Our Rug Hooking kits are made with fibers in analogous colors, with choices for complementary colors, and color values.  The kits are made with hand dyed wool fabric, wool yarn, and small amounts of cotton and silk yarns. Each pattern has finished edges, stitching around the hooked area, so you can decide how much extra backing you want to leave in place. The kits use patterns drawn on burlap, sourced locally. Each kit comes with step-by-step instructions and photos made by a certified adult educator.

Choose the type of kit you want to do, to match the type of finishing you want:

• hoop kits are finished with glue and a paper backing

• frame kits are finished with a Forward Frame

• cotton binding kits are finished with handstitched cotton binding and mitered corners

Postage is included in the price. We will do whatever we can to help reduce your postage cost:

• If you want to pick up an item, we will refund the shipping cost. 

• If you are buying more than one item, you will get a refund because we combine the shipping costs. The refund will be sent to you when your order is mailed.

• If you want an exact postage quote for your address, before purchasing, just ask and we will get this for you, to save you whatever we can on postage.
